More Euro 2016 Specials After Record Demand

13 FLIGHTS TO/FROM LYON FOR THE BOYS IN GREEN

Ryanair, Ireland’s favourite airline, today (23 June) announced that it has scheduled another 8 flights between Dublin and Lyon, following overwhelming demand from Irish fans looking to travel to the Round of 16 European Championship clash with France on Sunday, 26th June.

Ryanair will operate a total of 13 Euros specials between Saturday 25th  June and Monday 27th June, with 6 departures from Dublin and 7 flights from Lyon, ensuring even more of the Green Army can cheer on Ireland.

Seats are extremely limited so fans should sit down (for the Boys in Green), log on to www.ryanair.com and book their flights to Lyon.

Please note that due to operational constraints, and in honour of Thierry Henry’s infamous handball, these flights will operate with hand baggage only.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said:

“Demand for this match is shattering all previous records and as a result we’ve added another 8 flights between Dublin and Lyon, bringing to 13 the total number of Euro 2016 specials we’ll operate between Saturday 25th and Monday 27th.

These Euro specials are selling faster than a Wes Hoolahan cross and are only available for booking on the Ryanair.com website. Fans should note that these flights will operate with hand baggage only, to remind ourselves of Thierry Henry’s handball in 2009, and we all hope the French defence joins their Air Traffic Controllers and the rest of their unions by going AWOL on Sunday.”
