Ryanair donates €15,000 to Fundação do Gil

Ryanair, Europe’s favourite low fares airline, today (16 Mar) made a €15,000 donation to the Portuguese charity Fundação do Gil, the latest in a series of charities to receive support from Ryanair’s “Fly to Win” scratchcards.

Ryanair’s scratchcards are very popular with customers who can win prizes of cash, luxury cars, or scoop a cool €1 million – all for a stake of just €2, which funds numerous charity donations across Portugal and Europe.

Fundação do Gil is a children’s charity based in Lisbon, and is also active in Porto, both cities where Ryanair have bases in Portugal.

Ryanair’s Chief People Officer Eddie Wilson said:

“Ryanair is delighted to support Fundação do Gil and hope for a long relationship over the coming years. Our crew are passionate about supporting the work that Fundação do Gil. The charity is one of many across Europe to receive ongoing donations from Ryanair’s scratchcards, where customers can win some fantastic prizes while helping out many great causes.”
