Ryanair Supports Mov’in Europe’s ‘Mobility Is My Lifestyle’ Initiative By The Erasmus Student Network

Ryanair and Erasmus Student Network today (6 Mar) hosted the winners of Mov’in Europe’s “Mobility is My Lifestyle” competition as the airline continues to support student mobility across Europe. , Justyna Golonka and Roberta Bajčić, are travelling throughout Europe taking them from Copenhagen to Athens, and from Budapest to Porto, with a stop in Brussels.

Mobility Is My Lifestyle, which is currently running its third edition, provides young Europeans with the opportunity to visit European cities, experience culture and quality services by ESN partners and hospitality of ESN volunteers. Mov’in Europe is an international programme of the Erasmus Student Network started in 2014, running a multi-format campaign promoting various mobility opportunities to young people, students, and young graduates.

Delivered as part of Ryanair’s “Always Getting Better” programme, Ryanair and the Erasmus Student Network partnership offers Erasmus students a dedicated ESN booking platform where they can avail of 15% flight discounts on the Ryanair.com website, and a free checked-in bag with every flight booked, saving ESN members an average of €33 per flight. Low-cost airlines – led by Ryanair – have revolutionised air travel over the past 30 years.

Any Erasmus student with a valid ESNcard can sign up via the “MyRyanair” registration service and save even more while they travel on Europe’s biggest airline with the widest route network and the lowest fares.” Ryanair is the exclusive partner of the Erasmus Student Network, offering Erasmus students huge savings, with fare discounts, free bags and tailored travel offers.

Close to 250,000 ESN members have signed up, saving more than €7.5m on their travel costs. The second year of this exclusive partnership is already reaching new heights, with over 140,000 bookings recorded on the Ryanair.com website since the start of the Academic year 2018-19 (an increase of 26% compared to last year) and students from over 1000 Higher Education Institutions across almost 40 countries can avail of these exclusive travel discounts with Ryanair.

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the biggest student association in Europe. Present at over 1000 Higher Education Institutions, it unites over 500 local associations in 39 countries. More than 13,000 volunteers take care of their international peers under the motto “Students helping students”. ESN works for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing the student exchange from different levels and providing an intercultural experience.
