Record Website Visits For Ryanair’s ‘Cyber Week’

Sale Extended With Fares From Just €9.99

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline, today (5 Dec) announced record website visits and bookings during its 10 day long ‘Cyber Week’ sale, with over 29 million website visits in total – more traffic than Tesco’s website receives in one month, more than what Chelsea FC receives in 6 months, and more than Inter Milan receives in one year.

Cyber Monday, 2nd December saw record visits and bookings, with the highest number of daily visits not just out of the 10 consecutive days of fantastic ‘Cyber Week’ offers on the Ryanair.com website but of all time, – beating the previous record of the same day last year – with over 6 million visits to the Ryanair.com website.

Ryanair celebrated its record bookings by releasing seats on sale from just €9.99, for travel in January, which must be booked by midnight tonight (23:59hrs Thursday).

Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs said:

“We are pleased to announce record visits during our week-long ‘Cyber Week’ sale with over 29 million visits in total. Cyber Monday, 2nd December, was our busiest ever day for bookings, with over 6 million visits to the Ryanair.com website, more than the population of Denmark, Ireland or Norway.

These record visits and bookings reflect continued demand for our low fares, lowest emissions and an even greater choice of destinations on offer. To celebrate, we have released seats on sale across our European network with fares from just €9.99, for travel in January.

This is your last chance to snap up a bargain break as these incredibly low fares must be booked by midnight tonight, so customers should log on to the Ryanair.com website and avoid missing out.”
