Ryanair Celebrates Carrying 3 Million Customers To/From Bulgaria

Ryanair, Europe’s favourite airline, today (3 July) celebrated carrying 3 million customers to/from Bulgaria, since its first low fare flight from Plovdiv in November 2010.

Borislav Petrov was the 3 millionth Ryanair customer to travel from Bulgaria through Sofia Airport on Ryanair’s Sofia to Birmingham service, part of its 19 routes Sofia Winter 2018 Schedule, which includes new getaway host spots Aqaba and Edinburgh, and which will help deliver 1.35m customers and support over 1,000 jobs* at Sofia airport.

Bulgarian consumers and visitors can now enjoy even lower fares and the latest “Always Getting Better” improvements including:

– Reduced checked-in bag fees – lower €25 fee, bigger 20kg bag allowance
– Ryanair Rooms with 10% off Travel Credit
– Ryanair Transfers – wider choice of ground transport with new partner Car Trawler

Ryanair celebrated carrying 3 million customers to/from Bulgaria by releasing seats on sale from Bulgaria from €16.99 for travel in July. These low fare seats are available for booking until midnight Thursday (5 July).

In Sofia, Ryanair’s Sales & Marketing Deputy Manager for CEE & Balkans, Denis Barabas said:
