Ryanair Launches Biggest Ever Irish Winter 2018 Schedule

9 New Routes & More Flights On 11 Other Routes

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (26 Feb) launched its Irish Winter 2018 schedule, with 9 new routes and more flights on 11 other routes, which will deliver 15.6m customers p.a. and support 11,700 jobs at Dublin, Shannon, Cork, Knock and Kerry airports, as Ryanair grows by 5% in Ireland.

Ryanair’s Irish Winter 2018 schedule will deliver:

Dublin:

– 7 new routes: Athens (2 wkly), Bari (2 wkly), Frankfurt (2 daily), Luxembourg (3 wkly), Marrakesh (2 wkly), Paphos (1 wkly) & Santander (2 wkly)

– More flights on 11 other routes: Barcelona (3 daily), Birmingham (6 daily), Budapest (2 daily), Cologne (2 daily), Faro (2 daily), Krakow (2 daily), Lanzarote (8 wkly), Madrid (3 daily), Malaga (9 wkly), Manchester (6 daily) & Venice (3 wkly)

– 76 routes in total

– 13.1m customers p.a. (+5%)

– 9,800* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Shannon:

– 11 routes in total including: Lanzarote (1 wkly), London Stansted (2 daily) & Krakow (2 wkly)

– 775,000 customers p.a. (+7%)

– 600* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Cork:

– 1 new route to Faro (2 wkly)

– 9 routes in total including: Malaga (2 wkly), London Gatwick (1 daily) & Gran Canaria (1 wkly)

– 915,000 customers p.a. (+3%)

– 700* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Knock:

– 1 new route to Bristol ( 3 wkly)

– 6 routes in total including: East Midlands (4 wkly), Liverpool (6 wkly) & Lanzarote (1 wkly)

– 585,000 customers p.a. (+2%)

– 450* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Kerry:

– 3 routes in total: Frankfurt-Hahn (2 wkly) London Luton (6 weekly) & London Stansted (4 wkly)

– 285,000 customers p.a.

– 210* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Ryanair customers already spend €2 billion in Ireland, and this 5% growth in traffic will facilitate an additional €200 million in spending by international tourists.
