Airports of Montenegro’ CEO Danilo Orlandic said:

“On this day exactly, seven years ago we welcomed the first Ryanair flight to Podgorica Airport.  It was the first ever low-cost carrier to operate into Montenegro.

Stepping into the post-COVID-19 future, Ryanair is set to resume flights from our airports to 9 destinations. Today, we welcome the first flight from Poznan, then there is a flight from Berlin. Starting from tonight, Podgorica will become connected with Dublin for the first time. We are eagerly looking forward to welcoming passengers from the capital of Ireland. This new route in particular will get us ever closer to the Northwest Europe. Moreover, in terms of our tourism it is important to have travellers from one of the richest countries in the world.

Finally, I hope that Ryanair will soon recover from the unprecedented crisis experienced by aviation business, having a far-reaching impact on all the industry players.  I also wish to see Ryanair aircrafts fully loaded with passengers and ever more operations to Montenegro, the place where you are always welcome.”
