RYANAIR DOUBLES TRAFFIC AT WARSAW MODLIN IN S26 7 BASED AIRCRAFT, 49 ROUTES (7 NEW) & 3M PAX P.A.
WARSAW CHOPIN GROWS WITH 3 NEW ROUTES & 700,000 PASSENGER P.A.
Ryanair, Poland’s No.1 airline, today (Tues, 3 March) announced record growth in Warsaw for Summer 2026, led by a major expansion at Warsaw Modlin and a growing schedule at Warsaw Chopin.
At Warsaw Modlin, Ryanair will base 7 aircraft for S26 ($700m investment) and operate 49 routes, including 7 new routes to Alghero, Bratislava, Lamezia, Milan, Palermo, Sofia& Valencia. Ryanair will also increase frequency on 29 existing routes, which will see traffic at Modlin double to 3m passengers p.a. At Warsaw Chopin, Ryanair will operate 12 routes, including 3 new routes to Leeds, Porto and Seville, carrying 700,000 passengers p.a. and offering low-fare travel choice from Poland’s largest airport.
Ryanair’s Warsaw S26 schedule will deliver:
Warsaw Modlin
- 7 based aircraft– $700M investment
- 49 routes, 7 new: Alghero, Bratislava, Lamezia, Milan, Palermo, Sofia, Valencia
- Traffic growth to 3m pax p.a. (double vs last year)
- Increased freq. on 29 routes
- Supp. over 2,500 jobs
Warsaw Chopin
- 12 routes, incl. 3 new: Leeds, Porto & Seville
- Traffic growth to 700K p.a. (+36%)
- Real low-fare choice for Warsaw citizens using Chopin airport
Ryanair continues to grow strongly in Warsaw and Poland, with Modlin a key growth airport under a multi-year agreement that delivers more terminal capacity, more routes and lower fares for the Mazovia region, supported by
growing offer in Chopin for passengers who prefer to use Poland’s main hub airport but still pay lower fares.
To celebrate Ryanair’s record Warsaw S26 schedules from Modlin and Chopin, Ryanair has launched a 3-day seat sale with low fares available now on ryanair.com and the Ryanair app.

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (1st August) celebrated the first flight from Prague to Paphos, while on Monday (3rd August) it will launch a twice weekly service to Kosice, both as part of its extended Summer 2020 schedule.
To celebrate its new routes, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares from 729 Kc for travel to Kosice and from 759 Kc to Paphos, both until the end of October, which must be booked by Wednesday (5th August), only on the Ryanair.com website.
