Ryanair, Ireland’s No. 1 airline, (8 Dec) made a €10,000 donation to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin, Ireland’s largest paediatric hospital.
Ryanair pilots, cabin crew and office staff visited the hospital to hand over the donation, meet the incredible staff who work there, and distribute toys, goodie bags and Ryanair toy planes to hundreds of children.
Ryanair’s Chief Pilot Ray Conway said:
“Ryanair is delighted to support Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin, which does so much to help sick children and their families, not only over Christmas, but every day of the year. We are delighted to make this €10,000 donation and to visit the hospital to see first-hand the invaluable work done by all the staff for sick children from right across Ireland.”
Helen Shortt, Chief Executive, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin added:
“We are extremely grateful to Ryanair for their generous donation to OLCHC and thank all the staff for taking time out of their day to meet and talk to the children and their families which was a nice distraction from their treatments in hospital.”
