RYANAIR LAUNCHES SUMMER SCHEDULE 2023 FROM KLAGENFURT

A TOTAL OF 3 DESTINATIONS ON OFFER

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline, today (15 Mar) unveiled its new Klagenfurt schedule for Summer 2023. Ryanair is offering 3 exciting destinations in total, including  2 new connections to Alicante and Mallorca, as well as an extension of the existing Winter’22 route to London Stansted.

Ryanair’s Klagenfurt Summer 2023 Schedule will deliver:

– 3 routes in total incl. 3 new Summer routes to Alicante, London & Mallorca

– 14 weekly flights

– 100% growth on S22

– 131K passengers to/from Klagenfurt p.a.

– 95+ highly paid aviation jobs

Ryanair will operate 14 weekly flights for Summer 2023 (100% growth on S22) giving Klagenfurt citizens/visitors the widest choice at the lowest fares in Europe when booking their Summer ‘23 getaways this summer while growing both inbound tourism and jobs. This unrivalled growth is underpinned by Ryanair’s $1.9bn total investment in Austria and commitment to regional airports such as Klagenfurt and Salzburg.

Ryanair’s Andreas Gruber, said:

“As Europe’s biggest airline, Ryanair is delighted to announce our Klagenfurt schedule for Summer 2023. Ryanair’s Austria based fleet of 19 aircraft ($1.9bn total investment) will deliver 81 routes in total, including its 3 Summer routes to/from Klagenfurt to exciting escapes like Alicante, London and Mallorca.

Efficient operations and competitive airport charges provide the foundation from which Ryanair can deliver long-term traffic growth and increased connectivity. Ryanair first landed in Austria in 2001, and will carry over 6.2M passengers in Austria 2023. We have worked closely with our partners in Klagenfurt Airport to secure this growth and improve services for those that live, work, or wish to visit Klagenfurt resulting in Ryanair having an over 20% market share in Austria.

To allow our customers and visitors to/from Klagenfurt to book their Summer getaway at the lowest fares, we are launching a special promo with seats available from just €29.99 for travel between Apr and Oct ’23, book by 17th March, at www.Ryanair.com.”

Marcus Hepner, Route Development Manager at Klagenfurt Airport, said:

“With Ryanair, Klagenfurt Airport has a very reliable partner since last year. The connection to London-Stansted has proven to be extremely attractive. It is therefore both pleasing and logical that this route is now being flown several times a week, all year round. This means that London is very close for Klagenfurt’s citizens, and more and more British guests are also arriving in Klagenfurt.

With Palma de Mallorca and Alicante, two very attractive holiday destinations are added to the programme several times a week. Mallorca is and remains a classic place of longing for many holidaymakers. And with the connection to Alicante or the magnificent Costa Blanca, there is a new attractive offer for passengers from Southern Austria, Slovenia and Northern Italy. In summary: With the summer flight schedule, Klagenfurt Airport is once again becoming a bit more attractive.
