Ryanair donates €10,000 to Kinderhilf

13 Mar 2018

Ryanair, Europe’s favourite low fares airline, today (12 Mar) made a €10,000 donation to the German charity Kinderhilfe, the latest in a series of charities to receive support from Ryanair’s “Fly to Win” scratchcards.

Ryanair’s scratchcards are very popular with customers who can win prizes of cash, luxury cars, or scoop a cool €1 million – all for a stake of just €2, which funds numerous charity donations across Portugal and Europe.

Kinderhilfe was founded in 1983 in Berlin, and supports and assists families of children diagnosed with cancer.

Ryanair’s Head of Retail Aoife Greene said:

“Ryanair is delighted to announce this partnership with Kinderhilfe this year, another addition to a growing list of charity partners. Our crew are passionate about supporting the incredible work that Kinderhilfe does for families of children with cancer. The charity is one of many across Europe to receive ongoing donations from Ryanair’s scratchcards, where customers can win some fantastic prizes while helping out many great causes.”

Director of Kinderhilfe Jürgen Schulz said:

“We were invited to Ryanair’s base at Schӧnefeld Airport. The crew members gave us a warm welcome, together with an incredible €10,000 for the families and children that we care for. Our thanks to everyone involved at Ryanair, including the buyers of scratch cards on Ryanair flights”.
