First Vilnius To Athens Flight Takes Off

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline, today (10 May) celebrated the first flight on its new twice weekly Vilnius to Athens service. Ryanair’s Vilnius summer 2018 schedule includes 22 routes in total.

To mark the start of this new Athens route and the official launch of the summer season, Ryanair has released seats for sale from €19.99, for travel in May and June, subject to availability, which are only available for booking on Ryanair.com until midnight Sunday (13 May).

Ryanair’s Chris Lundshøj said:

“We’re pleased to officially launch our new twice weekly Vilnius to Athens service and to celebrate, we are releasing seats for sale from just €19.99 for travel in May and June, which are available for booking on Ryanair.com until midnight Sunday (13 May). Since these amazing low prices will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com now and avoid missing out.”

Chief Commercial Officer at Lithuanian airports, Jurate Batrusaityte said:

“Greece has always been a very popular holiday destination for Lithuanians and we are very happy that there are now regular flights to one of the oldest capitals in Europe. Lithuanian airport has been working on a Vilnius-Athens route for more than 3 years and we really believe that both Lithuanians and Greeks will enjoy it!”
