Over 25,000 Cheltenham Racing Fans To Fly Ryanair
Ryanair, Ireland’s favourite airline and the official carrier of the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival, today (19 Feb) announced that it will carry over 25,000 racing fans to and from the 2020 Cheltenham Festival, all on the lowest fares, with just four weeks to go.
Ryanair has scheduled 32 extra flights and over 200 flights in total to and from Birmingham, Bristol and East Midlands for Cheltenham week, kicking off on Tuesday, 10th March, with the highlights being the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday 10th, Champion Chase on Wednesday 11th, Ryanair Chase on Thursday 12th followed by the highly anticipated Gold Cup on Friday, March 13th.
Ryanair’s Alejandra Ruiz said:
“We’re under starters’ orders for the 2020 Cheltenham Festival with just four weeks to go and racing fans are booking Ryanair flights in record numbers once more. We’ll carry over 25,000 punters to and from Cheltenham, all on the lowest fares, and we’ve scheduled over 200 flights to and from Birmingham, Bristol and East Midlands, including 32 extras.
All eyes will be on the Grade 1 Ryanair Chase and The Gold Cup, which take place on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th March and as the official airline of the Cheltenham Festival, we’ll be hoping for even more Irish winners this time around.
