Ryanair Announces 11 New S19 Routes From Edinburgh $100m Investment With Additional Based Aircraft
Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (8 Nov) launched its Edinburgh Summer 2019 schedule adding 11 new routes and an additional aircraft (bringing the total based aircraft to 9, with a total of 58 routes, which will help deliver 3.5m customers p.a. through Edinburgh airport next year.
Ryanair’s Edinburgh Summer 2019 schedule will go on sale from today and will deliver:
- 1 additional based aircraft (8 to 9), an investment of $100m
- 2 new routes: Billund (2 wkly) and Luxembourg (3)
- 9 new summer routes Berlin (6 wkly), Derry (5), Lisbon (2) Memmingen (2), Riga (1),
Seville (2), Sofia (2) Stockholm (2) and Tallinn (2)
- 58 routes in total
- 5m customers p.a.
- 2,625* on-site jobs
Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kenny Jacobs said:
“We are pleased to launch our Edinburgh Summer 19 schedule, with 11 new routes and 58 routes in total, which will deliver 3.5m customers through Edinburgh airport next year. We will also base an additional aircraft (an investment of $100m) at Edinburgh as we continue to grow traffic, routes, tourism and jobs.

To celebrate its new routes, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares from 729 Kc for travel to Kosice and from 759 Kc to Paphos, both until the end of October, which must be booked by Wednesday (5th August), only on the Ryanair.com website.
