RYANAIR ANNOUNCES NEW ROMANIAN SCHEDULE FOR SUMMER ’23 WITH FLIGHTS TO/FROM IASI FOR THE FIRST TIME

2 BASED AIRCRAFT ($200M INVESTMENT), OVER 370 WEEKLY FLIGHTS & 41 ROUTES, INCL 8 NEW ROUTES

Ryanair, Europe’s no. 1 airline, today (9 Dec) announced its new Romanian Summer ‘23 schedule, with over 370 weekly flights across 41 routes, incl. 8 exciting new routes to popular city break destinations like, Brussels, Dublin, Paris and Milan. This extensive schedule delivers 50% growth on Ryanair’s pre-Covid operations and is underpinned by a $200m investment of 2 based aircraft, driving invaluable inbound tourism and supporting over 800 local jobs while offering its Romanian customers unbeatable choice and the lowest fares when booking their summer holidays.

Ryanair’s Romanian Summer ‘23 schedule will deliver:

– 2 based aircraft

– $200m investment

– 41 total routes, incl. 8 new

– Addition of Iași to the Ryanair network for the first time

– Over 370 flights per week, 50% bigger than pre-Covid

– Supporting over 800 jobs

As part of its Summer ’23 schedule and continued growth in Romania (+50% vs pre-Covid), Ryanair will extend its services to Iasi Airport in the south-eastern region, operating 4 routes to/from Brussels Charleroi, Dublin, Milan Bergamo and Paris Beauvais and further enhancing Romania’s connectivity with wider Europe, while other airlines are cutting capacity or ceasing operations entirely.

To celebrate its Summer ‘23 schedule and commitment to Romania, Ryanair is launching a seat sale with fares from just €29.99 for travel between Apr’23 and Oct’23 available to book now on Ryanair.com.
