RYANAIR CALLS ON HEIDI ALEXANDER TO SACK NATS CEO MARTIN ROLFE AFTER OVER 7,000 PASSENGERS SUFFER ATC DELAYS THURS (14 AUG)  DUE TO REPEATED NATS MISMANAGEMENT & STAFF SHORTAGES

Ryanair, the UK’s No.1 low fares airline, today (14 Aug) called on Transport Minister, Heidi Alexander, to sack NATS CEO, Martin Rolfe, after more than 7,000 passengers travelling to/from the UK on Thurs 14th August suffered ATC delays of up to 30mins due to repeated NATS mismanagement and staff shortages.

A Ryanair spokesperson said:

“The UK ATC service is in shambles at the hands of NATS CEO, Martin Rolfe. It is time that Heidi Alexander step up and sack him for the benefit of UK passenger, who should be able to travel to/from the UK without suffering unnecessary ATC delays due to repeated NATS mismanagement and staff shortages.”
