Ryanair Celebrates The Opening Of Its New Turin Base & Launches S22 Schedule

2 Based Aircraft, $200m Investment, 19 New Routes

Ryanair, Europe and Italy’s no. 1 airline, today (11th Nov) celebrated the opening of its new Turin base and launched its S22 schedule. With two based aircraft, representing an investment of $200m alongside the introduction of 19 new routes, Ryanair significantly enhances Turin and Piemonte region connectivity.

Ryanair’s new Turin base will deliver:

  • 2 based aircraft (a $200m investment)
  • 60 direct jobs
  • over 100 departing flights per week
  • 19 new routes

Ryanair’s new base in Turin represents our commitment to the Piemonte region and further demonstrates Ryanair’s ability to rebuild the Italian tourism industry.

With 40 routes to choose from at Turin, passengers can now book a well-deserved getaway, flying at the lowest fares to exciting destinations such as Cagliari, Edinburgh, Malaga, and Seville.

To celebrate the opening of its new Turin base, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares available from just €19.99, which must be booked by Saturday, 13th November, only on the Ryanair.com website.

Ryanair’s Director of Marketing, Digital and Comms, Dara Brady, said:

We are delighted to celebrate the opening of our new base in Turin and to announce our new S22 schedule, which will boost connectivity throughout Europe as we continue to strengthen and grow our network to carry 225m passengers p.a. by 2026.

With 40 routes scheduled across this winter and next summer, Ryanair will be a crucial asset in positioning Turin and its region as a year-round destination for international tourism. This development will also create 60 direct jobs and offer our Italian customers a host of exciting European destinations to choose for their winter and summer breaks, with 19 new routes connecting Turin to the likes of Billund, Chania, and Dublin.

To celebrate, we are launching a seat sale with fares available from €19.99 for travel until the end of Oct 22, which must be booked by Saturday, 13th November. Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com to avoid missing out.”

Torino Airport CEO, Andrea Andorno, said:

“We are very pleased to announce today three new Ryanair routes – Agadir, Billund and Zadar – that will start from Turin in March 2022. We are also happy to confirm for next summer the connections that have debuted with the current winter season: Budapest, Copenhagen, Krakow, Edinburgh (starting from 4 December), Kyiv, Lanzarote, Madrid, Malaga, Marrakech, Paris Beauvais, Seville, Tel Aviv and Trapani. The three new entries will thus bring further growth in the summer season 2022 to the many new flights that Ryanair has recently launched from the base of Turin.

To celebrate, for all passengers we offer a discount of over 50% at our low-cost parking, with exceptional rates: for example, 4 days of parking at €9.99 and a week at €13.99.”
