Two Based Aircraft, $200m Investment, 14 New Routes

Ryanair, Europe’s no. 1 airline today (10^th Nov) celebrated the opening of its new Billund base – operating 14 new routes – and the launch of its Summer ‘22 schedule. With two based aircraft, representing an investment of $200m, this new base at Billund represents Ryanair’s commitment to Denmark and further demonstrates its ability to rebuild the Danish tourism industry, playing a key role in the recovery of jobs and the local economy.

Ryanair’s new Billund base will deliver:

• Two based aircraft (a $200m investment)
• 60 direct jobs
• 36 total routes (14 new routes)
• Connections to popular European destinations such as Lisbon, Krakow, Ibiza, Madrid, Porto & Seville
• Up to 100 departing flights per week.
