“We are delighted, that Europes’s leading low cost Airline Ryanair has decided to open this new direct route from southern Germany to Lake Saimaa, the jewel of Finnish Lakeland.
We believe that Lake Saimaa, Europe’s 4th largest lake area, has a lot to offer for travellers from Germany. Clean nature, thousands of lakes and islands with countless cottages, beach saunas and picturesque cities around Finnish Lakeland will offer an experience to live like a local. Soon all this will be very easy and affordable to reach by a new flight connection. Distance from Lappeenranta Airport to Lake Saimaa and Lappeenranta city centre is only two kilometres. It could not get much easier to start a holiday without crowds.”
