Country Manager for CEE and Baltics Alicja Wójcik-Golebiowska, said:

“As Europe’s no. 1 airline, Ryanair is pleased to announce our Winter 2023 schedule for Bucharest, with over 280 weekly flights across 27 routes incl. 2 new, exciting destinations: Paris-Beauvais and Tirana, as well as extension of our new Summer route, Catania, offering Bucharest citizens/visitors even more choice for their winter travels at the lowest fares in Europe.

Ryanair will carry over 2.5 m passengers to/from Bucharest this year, supporting over 1.9k local jobs as we continue to deliver more traffic, jobs, and lower fares than any other airline in Europe.

Airport competitive charges are vital in developing the Ryanair network, delivering new routes and driving connectivity to and from Romania. As competition between airports and regions in Europe soars, the airports must focus on long-term strategies to attract carriers like Ryanair and ensure further development of their regions.

I encourage all passengers travelling to and from Romania to book their winter getaways only on Ryanair.com.”
