Copenhagen Winter 2017 Schedule Launched

2 NEW ROUTES TO LIVERPOOL & SEVILLE WHILE SAS CUTS

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (28 Feb) launched its biggest ever Copenhagen winter schedule (2017), with 2 new routes to Liverpool and Seville (19 routes in total), and more flights to Edinburgh (5 per week) which will deliver over 2.5m customers p.a. and support 1,900* jobs at Copenhagen Airport.

Ryanair will continue to connect Copenhagen with major business centres on high frequency, low fare services including Dublin (daily), London (4 daily), Madrid (daily) and Rome (daily), with better timings and lower fares, making Ryanair the ideal choice for Danish business and leisure customers, and these new routes will go on sale on the Ryanair.com website tomorrow.

Ryanair’s Copenhagen Winter 2017 schedule will deliver:

  • 2 new routes: Liverpool (4 wkly) & Seville (2 wkly)
  • 19 routes in total
  • Extra flights to: Edinburgh (5 wkly)
  • Over 2.5m customers p.a.
  • 1,900* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Ryanair’s Copenhagen summer 2017 schedule is attracting record bookings, with more frequencies to sun destinations for summer family holidays, lower fares as Ryanair passes on lower fuel costs, and an even better customer experience, as it continues to roll out its “Always Getting Better” improvements.

In Copenhagen, Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said:

“We are pleased to launch our biggest ever Copenhagen winter schedule, which includes 2 new routes to Liverpool and Seville, and extra flights to Edinburgh, which will deliver 2.5m customers p.a. and support 1,900* jobs at Copenhagen Airport, as we continue to grow traffic, tourism and jobs, underlining our commitment to Denmark at a time when SAS is cutting Danish flights and moving bases overseas as SAS abandons the “Danish model” – will the Mayor of Copenhagen and the Danish unions now call for a boycott of SAS for exporting Danish jobs overseas? Will they reverse their opposition to Ryanair bases in Copenhagen which will create well-paid jobs in Denmark for pilots, cabin crew and engineers while SAS exports these jobs to London and Spain?

We are also pleased to report record bookings on our Copenhagen summer 2017 schedule and Danish customers can look forward to even lower fares so there’s never been a better time to book a low fare flight on Ryanair, and we urge all customers who wish to book their holidays to do so now on the Ryanair.com website or mobile app, where they can avail of the lowest fare air travel to and from Copenhagen.

To celebrate the launch of our Copenhagen winter 2017 schedule we are releasing seats for sale across our European network from just 69DKK, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (2 Mar). Since these amazing low prices will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com and avoid missing out.”
