Christmas Comes Early For Ryanair Customers

Ryanair, Europe’s No 1 airline, today (10 Dec) revealed Christmas came early for customers onboard its flight from Dublin to Barcelona who were surprised with personalised Christmas gifts from its ‘Runway Retail’ inflight magazine, which features a range of exclusive gift ideas, including cosmetics and fragrances for men and women.

Shortly after take-off, Father Christmas made a surprise announcement that every customer onboard had made his ‘nice’ list, and all received goodie bags filled with an amazing array of products worth €200, from Ryanair’s inflight retail offering, including:

  • Perfume and cologne from brands such as Hugo Boss & Michael Kors
  • Cosmetics from brands such as Bellapierre, Tan Organic & Urban Decay
  • Skincare products from Elizabeth Arden, Nuxe Skin Care & Kiehl’s
  • Ryanair’s toy plane & Christmas decorations
  • Share size snacks incl. Maltesers, M&Ms & jellies
  • Soft drinks from Purdey’s & J20
  • Ryanair’s Secret Shopper Booklet – full of festive gift ideas

All Ryanair’s fragrance and beauty lines are up to 60% cheaper than the high street and to celebrate Christmas, Ryanair has slashed an additional 10% off all its fragrances* for the festive season, ensuring even more savings for its customers. Customers can now enjoy a dedicated inflight shopping section on the Ryanair website and app, where they can download ‘Runway Retail’ directly to their smart phone prior to their flight.

Ryanair’s Head of Retail, Aoife Greene said:

“Christmas is nearly here so we wanted to spread some festive cheer and surprise customers on board this flight from Dublin to Barcelona with personalised Christmas gifts from our ‘Runway Retail’ inflight magazine, which features a range of exclusive gift ideas for men and women.

We have prepared our latest retail winter catalogue with some of the best offers around which we know our customers and their loved ones will enjoy. All Ryanair’s fragrance and beauty lines are up to 60% cheaper than the high street and we have slashed an additional 10% off all fragrances* for the festive season

The winter edition of ‘Runway Retail’ is now available to download from our website so customers can window shop the best offers in the skies in advance of their flight, while digital advocates can download the catalogue directly to their smart phone for use onboard instead of the print version.”
