RYANAIR BASES 2 NEW AIRCRAFT, 7 NEW ROUTES & 150 NEW JOBS IN RECORD LONDON S24 SCHEDULE

Ryanair, Europe’s largest and fastest growing airline, today (16 Jan) launched its biggest ever S24 schedule for London (Gatwick, Luton & Stansted) with 200 routes, including 7 new routes to Basel, Dubrovnik, Palma, Sarajevo, Tatry, Tirana, and Treviso. Ryanair will base two new B737 aircraft in London (56 total) – another $200m investment – creating over 150 new high paid jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers.

Ryanair’s London S24 schedule will deliver:

  • 200 routes, 7 new – Basel, Dubrovnik, Palma, Sarajevo, Tatry, Tirana, & Treviso.
  • 2 new B737 aircraft (56 total – $5.6bn invest)
  • London traffic grows to over 30m pax p.a.
  • Supps over 24,000 London jobs, incl. 1,700 high paid pilot, cabin crew & engineer jobs

While Ryanair continues to invest and grow in London, the UK, NATS ATC continues to be an inefficient shambles which threatens passengers’ travel plans and UK traffic growth. Repeated NATS failures in June, Aug & Dec 2023 caused thousands of cancellations/delays for millions of UK passengers. These repeated NATS failures are unacceptable and make clear that it is time for overpaid CEO, Martin Rolfe, to go and let someone competent take over.

UK passengers are being scammed & overcharged by OTA Pirates, like eDreams, Kiwi, Opodo and Onthebeach, who unlawfully screenscrape Ryanair’s website and use this pirated data to dupe unsuspecting consumers with overcharged flights and ancillaries, hidden mark-ups, and invented non-existent “service” fees, while providing fake customer contact and payment details. Ryanair again calls on the UK Govt and consumer agencies to outlaw this internet piracy and blatant consumer abuse by OTA Pirates.

To celebrate Ryanair’s 2 new aircraft and 7 new routes for London, Ryanair has launched a 2-day seat sale with fares from £19.99 available only at Ryanair.com.

Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said:

“Ryanair is pleased to announce 2 new aircraft ($200m) and 7 new routes for London in S24 (Basel, Dubrovnik, Palma, Sarajevo, Tatry, Tirana, and Treviso), and the creation of 150 high paid aviation jobs.

While our UK customers/visitors plan for an exciting Summer, the threat of repeated UK NATS failures continue to disrupt UK passengers’ travel. UK NATS overpaid CEO, Martin Rolfe, should go now, and let someone competent do the job.

OTA Pirates continue to dupe unsuspecting UK consumers by illegally screenscraping the Ryanair.com website and then scamming consumers by overcharging them for our flights and ancillary services but mask this scam by giving Ryanair fake customer contact & payment details. Its time for action to outlaw this internet piracy and these anti-consumer scams by OTA Pirates.

Ryanair’s new London schedule, including these 7 exciting new Ryanair routes, is available to book now at ryanair.com, with a limited-time seat sale starting from just £19.99.”
