Erasmus-Studenten Sparen Mit Ryanair Bis Dato 5 Millionen Euro
Dublin/Berlin, 9. Oktober 2018. Ryanair, Europas Airline Nr. 1, ist heute offiziell in das zweite Jahr der exklusiven Partnerschaft mit dem Erasmus-Studentennetzwerk (ESN) gestartet.
Die Partnerschaft ist Teil des „Always Getting Better“-Programms von Ryanair und bietet Erasmus-Studenten ein eigenes Buchungsportal, auf dem sie 15 Prozent Ermäßigung auf Flüge auf der Ryanair.com-Website erhalten, sowie bei jeder Flugbuchung ein kostenloses Aufgabegepäck – damit sparen Mitglieder des Erasmus-Studentennetzwerks durchschnittlich 33 Euro pro Flug.
Mehr als 150.000 Mitglieder des ESN haben sich innerhalb des ersten Jahres der Partnerschaft angemeldet und so mehr als 5 Millionen Euro bei ihren Reisekosten gespart. Auch jetzt in diesem Jahr können sich Studenten wieder anmelden und von diesen exklusiven Reisevergünstigungen bei Ryanair profitieren. Die ESN-Mitgliedschaft ist an über 500 Universitäten in knapp 50 Ländern erhältlich.

Erasmus Students Save Over €5m So Far With Ryanair
Ryanair, Europe’s favourite airline, today (8 Oct) officially launched the second year of its exclusive partnership with the Erasmus Student Network..
Delivered as part of Ryanair’s “Always Getting Better” programme, this partnership offers Erasmus students a dedicated ESN booking platform where they can avail of 15% flight discounts on the Ryanair.com website, and a free checked-in bag with every flight booked, saving ESN members an average of €33 per flight.
Over 150,000 ESN members signed up during the first year of the partnership, saving over €5m on their travel costs. Students can now sign up once again this year, with ESN membership available at over 500 Universities across almost 50 countries, and avail of these exclusive travel discounts with Ryanair.

Madrid, 4 de octubre de 2018. Ryanair, la primera aerolínea en España, ha anunciado hoy su calendario de verano para la próxima temporada de 2019 en Cataluña. La aerolínea operará 6 rutas nuevas, incluyendo conexiones como Barcelona – Kiev, Girona – Bruselas y Reus – Gdansk. En total, Ryanair ofrecerá más de 100 rutas en Cataluña, transportando 9,4 millones de pasajeros anuales hacia y desde los 3 aeropuertos en los que opera en la región, aumentando su tráfico un 2%.
El calendario de Cataluña para el verano de 2019 incluirá:
– 6 rutas nuevas:
Barcelona: Gotemburgo, Kiev, Londres Luton
Girona: Bruselas
Reus: Gdansk, Londres Southend
– Más de 100 rutas en total
– Más de 600 vuelos semanales
– 9,4 millones de pasajeros anuales (incremento del 2%)
– 7,000* puestos de trabajo al año en los aeropuertos
Los clientes de Ryanair en Cataluña pueden hacer ya sus reservas anticipadas hasta octubre de 2019, en más de 100 rutas y con las tarifas más económicas. Para celebrarlo, la compañía ha lanzado una oferta de asientos desde tan sólo 16,99€ para viajar entre los meses de octubre y diciembre. Esta oferta estará disponible hasta la medianoche del lunes, 8 de octubre, en la página web Ryanair.com.

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline, today (4 Oct) welcomed the Commercial Court of Barcelona’s recent ruling confirming that no EU261 compensation is due to customers whose flights are cancelled because of internal strike action, as such strikes are beyond the airline’s control.
Ryanair fully complies with all EU261 legislation and has re-accommodated or refunded all customers affected by the small number of strike cancellations, and provided full assistance to customers where needed, including accommodation, meals and rerouting.
However, as these cancellations are beyond Ryanair’s control, no EU261 compensation payments are due, as confirmed by this Barcelona court ruling, the ninth such recent Spanish court ruling, following similar decisions in the Courts of Badajoz, Ourense and Pontevedra.
Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs said:
“We welcome this ruling by the Commercial Court of Barcelona confirming that no compensation is payable to customers when the (strike) delay/cancellation is beyond the airline’s control. If these strikes, by a tiny minority of Ryanair crew, were within Ryanair’s control, there would be no strikes and no cancellations.
In recent years during which there were over 15 days of pilot and cabin crew strikes in Germany, Lufthansa was not required to pay EU261 compensation. Similarly, the UK CAA should also explain why it took no EU261 action against BA during last year’s cabin crew strikes.”
