Η Ryanair σήμερα (13 Σεπ) απέρριψε τους ψευδείς ισχυρισμούς της Βελγικής ένωσης CNE ότι οι απεργία της μειοψηφίας προσωπικού καμπίνας επιβατών θα προκαλέσει “χάος” στις πτήσεις της 28ης Σεπτεμβρίου.
Αντιθέτως η Ryanair τόνισε ότι από την εμπειρία των προηγουμένων απεργιών, οι οποίες περιλάμβαναν πενθήμερες απεργίες με συμμετοχή λιγότερη από το 25% των Ιρλανδών κυβερνητών αυτό το καλοκαίρι, κάθε μία ημέρα από αυτές η Ryanair εξυπηρέτησε 280 από τις 300 πτήσεις από/προς την Ιρλανδία, καθώς πάνω από το 75% των Ιρλανδών πιλότων συνέχισε να εργάζεται κανονικά. Στο σύνολο η Ryanair εχθές εξυπηρέτησε πάνω από 2,300 πτήσεις και μετέφερε πάνω από 380,000 πελάτες χωρίς “χάος”.
Στην Γερμανία εχθές, παρά την απεργία των κυβερνητών και του προσωπικού της καμπίνας επιβατών, πάνω από το 70% των κυβερνητών και του πληρώματος καμπίνας επιβατών της Ryanair με βάση τη Γερμανία, εργάστηκαν φυσιολογικά και ολοκλήρωσαν πάνω από 250 από τις 400 προγραμματισμένες πτήσεις, καθώς 150 πτήσεις είχαν προ-ακυρωθεί την Τρίτη 11 Σεπτεμβρίου, με το μικρό ποσοστό των επιβατών που επηρεάστηκαν να μπορεί να αλλάξει την πτήση του ή να λάβει επιστροφή χρημάτων.
Η Ryanair περιμένει ότι ακόμα και αν υπάρξει και άλλη μικρής έκτασης απεργία προσωπικού καμπίνας επιβατών στην 28η Σεπτεμβρίου, η πλειονότητα των πληρωμάτων καμπίνας επιβατών ανά την Ευρώπη θα εργαστεί φυσιολογικά. Επιπλέον περιμένει ότι η σημαντική πλειοψηφία του προσωπικού καμπίνας επιβατών στη Ισπανία, την Ιταλία, το Βέλγιο, την Ολλανδία και την Πορτογαλία θα συνεχίσουν να εργάζονται φυσιολογικά, όπως έκαναν κατά τη διάρκεια προηγούμενων απεργιών, και σαν συνέπεια δεν θα υπάρξει κανένα “χάος” ή εκτενή “προβλήματα”.
O Kenny Jacobs της Ryanair δήλωσε:
“Επανειλημμένοι ψευδείς ισχυρισμοί από αυτές τις ενώσεις σχετικά με το “χάος” που θα προκληθεί, έχουν αποδειχθεί ανυπόστατοι. Ενώ λυπούμαστε για τις περιορισμένες απεργίες αυτού του καλοκαιριού, σε κάθε περίπτωση προληπτικά ακυρώσαμε ένα μικρό αριθμό από τις 2,500 πτήσεις μας καθημερινώς, ώστε να μειώσουμε στο ελάχιστο την ταλαιπωρία των πελατών.
Διαφωνούμε με αυτούς τους πομπώδεις και ανακριβείς τίτλους στον τύπο, οι οποίοι αναφέρουν εσφαλμένα ένα “ταξιδιωτικό χάος”, παρά το γεγονός ότι κατά τη διάρκεια των επτά ημερών μερικών απεργιών από μια μικρή μειοψηφία των κυβερνητών μας και του πληρώματος καμπίνας επιβατών αυτό το καλοκαίρι, δεν προκλήθηκε απολύτως κανένα “χάος”.
Εάν υπάρξει περαιτέρω αποτυχημένη απεργία πληρώματος θαλάμου επιβατών την 28η Σεπτεμβρίου, τότε όπως έγινε και εχθές στη Γερμανία, η Ryanair θα ενημερώσει τους πελάτες για έναν μικρό αριθμό ακυρώσεων και η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία των πτήσεων και των υπηρεσιών της Ryanair θα λειτουργήσει εκείνη την ημέρα ως συνήθως, και θα μεταφέρουμε τη συντριπτική πλειοψηφία των 400.000 επιβατών που θα προγραμματίσουν να πετάξουν μαζί μας εκείνη την ημέρα. “
Ryanair a rejeté aujourd’hui (13 septembre) les fausses déclarations faites par le syndicat belge CNE, selon lesquelles une grève de sa petite minorité de personnel navigant le 28 septembre provoquerait un « chaos des voyages ».
Ryanair a souligné son expérience lors de précédentes grèves parmi lesquels cinq jours de grève par moins de 25% de ses pilotes irlandais cet été, et Ryanair a complété 280 de ses 300 vols depuis/vers l’Irlande, car plus de 75% ses pilotes irlandais ont continué à travailler normalement. Au total, Ryanair a opéré hier plus de 2,200 vols et transporté plus de 380,000 clients sans aucun « chaos ».
Hier en Allemagne, malgré une grève des pilotes et du personnel de cabine, plus de 70% des pilotes et équipages Ryanair basés en Allemagne se sont présentés au travail et Ryanair a effectué plus de 250 vols quotidiens programmés, car 150 vols avaient été annulés mardi 11 et un petit groupe de passagers concernés ont été transféré et/ou remboursé.
Ryanair s’attend à ce que, même s’il y ait une autre grève limitée du personnel de cabine le 28 septembre, la grande majorité de son personnel de cabine à travers l’Europe travaillera normalement. Elle s’attend également à ce qu’une grande majorité de son personnel de cabine en Espagne, en Italie, en Belgique, aux Pays-Bas et au Portugal travaillent également normalement, comme lors des précédentes grèves. Il n’y aura donc pas de « chaos des voyages » ou de « perturbations généralisées ».
Kenny Jacobs de Ryanair a déclaré :
« Les fausses déclarations répétées de ces syndicats au sujet du « chaos des voyages » se sont révélées sans fondement. Bien que nous regrettions les actions de grève limitées qui ont eu lieu cet été, nous avons dans tous les cas judicieusement annulé par anticipation un petit nombre de nos 2,500 vols quotidiens afin de minimiser les perturbations et les désagréments causés aux clients.
Nous nous opposons à ces gros titres de presse inexacts et imprécis qui se réfèrent à tort au « chaos des voyage », en dépit du fait que pendant les sept jours de grève partielle d’une petite minorité de nos pilotes et membres d’équipage, il y a eu très peu de perturbations et absolument pas de “chaos”.
S’il y a une autre grève infructueuse du personnel de bord le 28 septembre prochain, comme nous l’avons démontré hier en Allemagne, Ryanair informera les clients d’un petit nombre d’annulations de vols et la grande majorité des vols et services de Ryanair seront effectués de manière habituelle, et nous transporterons la grande majorité des 400,000 passagers qui seront avec nous ce jour-là ».

Ryanair si fa forza della sua esperienza durante i precedenti scioperi, tra cui cinque giorni di scioperi a cui hanno partecipato meno del 25% dei piloti irlandesi quest’estate, e in ciascuno di quei giorni Ryanair ha operato 280 dei suoi 300 voli da / per l’Irlanda, perché oltre il 75% di i suoi piloti irlandesi ha continuato a lavorare normalmente. In totale, ieri Ryanair ha operato oltre 2.200 voli e trasportato oltre 380.000 clienti senza creare “caos”.
Ieri in Germania, nonostante uno sciopero dei piloti e del personale di cabina, oltre il 70% del personale di base in Germania di Ryanair ha lavorato normalmente e Ryanair ha operato oltre 250 voli dei 400 voli programmati, perché 150 voli erano già stati annullati in anticipo martedì 11 settembre e l’esiguo numero di passeggeri coinvolti sono stati riprotetti su un altro volo o rimborsati.
Ryanair si aspetta che, anche se ci sarà un altro sciopero il 28 settembre a cui potrà aderire un numero limitato di personale di cabina, la stragrande maggioranza lavorerà normalmente in tutta Europa. La compagnia aerea si aspetta inoltre che anche una significativa maggioranza del suo personale di cabina di base in Spagna, Italia, Belgio, Paesi Bassi e Portogallo lavorerà normalmente, come ha fatto durante i precedenti scioperi, e di conseguenza non ci sarà alcun “caos nei viaggi” o “considerevoli disagi”.
Kenny Jacobs, Chief Marketing Office Ryanair, ha dichiarato:
“Le ripetute dichiarazioni false da parte di questi sindacati sul “caos nei viaggio” si sono rivelate infondate. Nonostante siamo dispiaciuti delle limitate azioni di sciopero che hanno avuto luogo quest’estate, abbiamo prudentemente annullato in anticipo un piccolo numero dei nostri 2.500 voli giornalieri al fine di minimizzare i disagi e gli inconvenienti per i clienti.
Ci opponiamo a questi titoli di giornale pressanti e imprecisi che erroneamente si riferiscono a “caos nei viaggi; malgrado ci siano stati sette giorni di scioperi di una piccola minoranza dei nostri piloti e personale di bordo quest’estate, ci siano stati pochissimi disagi e assolutamente nessun “caos”.
Se ci sarà un ulteriore sciopero dell’equipaggio di cabina il prossimo 28 settembre, come abbiamo dimostrato ieri in Germania, Ryanair avviserà in anticipo i clienti di un piccolo numero di voli che saranno cancellati, mentre la stragrande maggioranza dei voli e dei servizi di Ryanair quel giorno opererà normalmente, e trasporteremo la stragrande maggioranza dei 400.000 passeggeri che hanno in programma di volare con noi quel giorno.”
Ryanair today (13th Sept) rejected false claims made by Belgian union CNE that strike action by its small minority of cabin crew on the 28th September would cause “travel chaos”.
Ryanair pointed to its experience during previous strikes which included five days of strikes by less than 25% of its Irish pilots this summer, and on each of those days, Ryanair completed 280 of its 300 flights to/from Ireland, because over 75% of its Irish pilots continued to work normally. In total yesterday Ryanair operated over 2,200 flights and carried over 380,000 customers with no “chaos”.
Yesterday in Germany, despite a strike by pilots and cabin crew, over 70% of Ryanair’s German based pilots and cabin crew reported for work and Ryanair completed over 250 of its daily schedule of 400 flights, because 150 flights had been pre-cancelled on Tuesday 11th with the small group of affected passengers being reaccommodated and/or refunded.
Ryanair expects that even if there is another limited cabin crew strike on 28th September, the vast majority of its cabin crew across Europe will work as normal. It also expects a significant majority of its cabin crew in Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and Portugal will also work normally, as they have during previous strikes, and accordingly there will not be any “travel chaos” or “widespread disruptions”.
Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs said:
“Repeated false claims made by these unions about “travel chaos” have proven to be unfounded. While we regret the limited strike actions that have taken place this summer, in all cases we have judiciously pre-cancelled a small number of our 2,500 daily flights in order to minimise customer disruption and inconvenience.
We object to these lurid and inaccurate press headlines which wrongly refer to “travel chaos”, despite the fact that during the seven days of partial strikes by a small minority of our pilots and cabin crew this summer, there has been very little disruption and absolutely no “chaos”.
If there is a further unsuccessful cabin crew strike on the 28th Sept next then, as we demonstrated in Germany yesterday, Ryanair will pre-advise customers of a small number of flight cancellations, and the overwhelming majority of Ryanair’s flights and services that day will operate as normal, and we will carry the overwhelming majority of the 400,000 passengers who will be scheduled to fly with us that day.”

Last week Ryanair submitted a complaint to the European Commission over discrimination by UK airline controlled NATS at Stansted, who refuse to explain why 52% of all London ATC delays in Q1 were at Stansted while there was zero such delays at Heathrow and just 10% at Gatwick where (NATS’ shareholders) BA and Easyjet are the main airlines.
We call on the UK Govt and EU to take prompt action against NATS who continue to deliver an atrocious service to airlines despite having amongst the highest ATC fees in the EU, and who are blatantly protecting Heathrow at the expense of all other London airports, especially Stansted. We expect the EU to act quickly to ensure a fairer allocation of NATS resources (and delays) to all 5 London airports, instead of protecting Heathrow.

We remain concerned at the increasing risk of a hard (no-deal) Brexit in March 2019. While we hope that a 21-month transition agreement from March 2019 will be agreed, recent events in the UK have added uncertainty, and we believe that the risk of a hard Brexit (which could lead to flights being grounded for a period of days or weeks) is being underestimated.”
All Affected Customers Have Been Emailed This Morning
The VC pilot union has called a surprise (just 24 hours’ notice) and unnecessary strike in Germany on Wed, 12 Sep. While Ryanair hopes to complete much of its schedule, in the interest of minimising customer disruptions we have regrettably been forced to cancel 150 of 400 flights to/from Germany on Wed, 12 Sep.
All affected customers have received emails and SMS text notices this morning (11 Sep) and offered a refund, free move on to the next available flight or reroute options. Customers who have not received notices will not be disrupted and should travel to the airport as scheduled tomorrow.
Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs said:
“We condemn the short notice decision of the VC to call a strike on Wed 12th when Ryanair has already agreed to independent mediation/arbitration in Germany, has agreed to negotiate local contracts and has agreed to increase basic pay for German pilots.
To minimise customer disruption, Ryanair have been forced to cancel 150 flights of 400 flights to/from Germany tomorrow, Wed 12 Sep and all affected customers have been notified this morning and informed of their options. We apologise sincerely to our customers for this unnecessary strike and regrettable disruptions which Ryanair has done everything in its power to avoid.”
